What is Autumn without a roast pumpkin? With Halloween just around the corner, we’re excited to share one of our favourite pumpkin recipes which is not only delicious but also made with all-natural ingredients. Enough talking, let’s get to cooking!
Start by peeling and slicing a butternut pumpkin. After halving it and removing the seeds, cut it into thin slices, and start adding the toppings.
Cover the slices with 50g sesame seeds, add 300g feta cheese chunks, and drizzle generously with 50g Special Acacia raw honey. This will sweeten and complement your dish, by adding fibre, vitamins, and minerals and not empty calories like refined sugar.
Once done, it’s time to roast this baby! Put the pumpkin slices on a tray in the middle of a pre-heated oven and cook at 180 degrees for 45-50 minutes. Voilà, impress your family and friends with a delicious natural treat.
